It was our hotel suggestion for trying Catalonia cousin. The staffs were very good and friendly. Service was ok. Starter ,fried calamari, and green salad was perfect. For dinner, my husband ordered grilled tuna. That was delicious with vegetables on side dish. But I ordered grilled red shrimp, it was not the thing that i like but ok. There is nothing... More

We have gone to celebrate my birthday and it was an awesome idea!!!! Food is 100% catalan cuisine but well presented, with a kind team serving the tables and an absolutely accurated presentation in all the dishes. We did pre-startings, starting and main course, with two Martini's and water and deserts to close the great experience, with an amount of... More

The food in this restaurant was pretty average ,I would warn diners to beware of the specials ,as you don't know the prices until the bill comes, the staff though were very good I had one of the specials and could not eat it due to the texture but they were anxious to please and offered me several alternatives but... Booked this for a treat for my friend and I on our bargain basement tour. And what a treat it was. Amazing and varied dishes unlike anything I had tried before on my gourmet trip round the world.

The food was quite amazing. After all the tapas eating, the main dish here seems huge. We had the veal cheek which was fantastic. The hake fish was perfectly done. The duck Foie gras was also great. My black rice seafood, effectively a paella which was served in a big frying pan in front of me, was quite a disappointment.... More

We were referred by our hotel to this restaurant, and we did go with some trepidation based on some of the reviews, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The waiters were very kind, and very observant. I agree with one of the fellow posters that treating them with respect is the key to good service. If they have the feeling... More

A restaurant with a lovely ambience, a feeling of privacy but the opportunity to sneak a peek at other diners' dishes that either whet our appetites or made us question our own choices. We were taken here by friends who had been looking for an excuse to try the restaurant. None of us were disappointed. The black rice was probably... More

There are many good restaurants in the world -- and certainly in Barcelona. But total dining experiences are less common, unless you can take a second mortgage on your house over the phone. Petit Comite stands out as a place where you can have the fine dining experience without the mortgage. Don't be misled. It's not cheap. But it's a... More

We were given the worst table in the restaurant, just by the kitchen door that continously opened and closed and also next to a corridor used by waiters. I believe any Mc Donald can beat the lousy athmosphere we experienced. IT really ruined my meal, not being able to talk to my We sat for ages waiting to get a... More

From your burst bite you'll be amazed by the exquisitely prepared traditional Catalonian food with a modern twist - each flavoursome mouthful brings you into the present moment - and wonderful ambience - perfect service - this Restsurant deserves every bit of 5 star!

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
