We had lunch here yesterday and was so impressed with the food and service that we came back for dinner. The salmon was perfect for lunch!!! Ordered paella for dinner tonight and it is delicious!! We ordered personal paella - one with chicken and one with peeled shrimp. Wonderful!!

This restaurant has seating both inside and outside on the square (with the giant chicken wire sculpture). As it was getting cooler evening time, we opted for indoors. After we were seated we noticed an odour of fresh spirit based paint, so presumably they'd recently been decorating. Luckily it wasn't too overpowering. A reasonably extensive menu. Something for everyone &... More

On our way to dinner we passed many other tourists eating on La Rambl. We continued through some of the gothic area and came upon this restaurant which we had visited a few years earlier on one of our BCN trips. We shared a seafood fideu (paella, but made with noodles rather than rice). It was a fixed price menu... More

This delightful restaurant is not only pleasant visually, but also serves excellent food...and has a most wonderful staff. The only problem is that the portions are too big, and you want to eat up every morsel. So do and then go for a long walk as it is worth it. From the excellent JUMBO sized olives through the various Tapas,... More

We had 13€ lunch menu and it was good, especially main course Bacalao. We went in little bit mistrustfulled because restaurant looked quite turistic place but food was nice surprise. It was traditional spanish but with nice elegant style. Service was only in Spanish but very friendly .

We ate here on the night of Sept. 24, 2016. How do I remember? We were walking from our hotel to Placa Sant Juame I for the La Merce celebrations. The Plaza was wall-to-wall people , so I looked at a few of the local eateries, and the nearby Trobador looked pretty good. We went in to a nicely designed... More

Sitting outside on a nice Placa and looking at some great modern art, you would expect to find a place where both wine and fine were of a certain quality. This was not the case with Trobador. Well, the wine was OK and the tomato bread was excellent, but everything else was not. Probably not coming back ...
