Visited here for lunch as soon as I landed as I had seen the sandwiches on instagram. Freshly sliced meat and beautifully toasted bread, the service was also very efficient too. I tried to visit again for my evening meal but couldn't get in unfortunately. Cannot recommend this place enough, was outstanding. I had a diavolo sandwich and large beer for €12.50. Worth it.

The food, the staff, & setting made a delightful break from sightseeing for our group of two families yesterday.
We were warmly welcomed by Francesco & his staff who were attentive & very accommodating despite a temporary power outage when we arrived.
The Porchetta & Arrosto with the trio of sauces, plus the Burrata & Prosciutto, beautifully presented on wooden boards, were so delectable that we ordered seconds!
The place is small but it did not feel claustrophobic — it has an intimate, rustic charm & despite our company of five children, I saw the romantic setting it offers.
Totally worth the visit! I’d go back if or when I can.

We had a platter of Italian meats and cheese as recommended by the waiter. It was delicious - even better than some of the meats and cheeses we had tasted in Italy two years ago. The guy who served us was really friendly and knowledgeable. All good and drink was reasonably priced too. Really liked the look of the restaurant too.

I'm Italian and I can recognize the real Italian food. Delicious sandwiches, cheese & cured meat boards, homemade cakes, wine and cocktails ... at Gallo Nero you can taste a real piece of Tuscany!
I really advise you to join Checco, Simino, Ciro and all the amazing Gallo Nero's staff to satisfy your hunger and thirst form lunch time to very late in the night!

We visited Barcelona last week and came across this amazing little tapas bar. The food was so tasty, it was all fresh and such good value the atmosphere was fun and lively with great music. There was a wide range of cocktails which didn't come full with just ice like they usually do. All the staff were lovely and friendly and clearly take pride in all the food and drinks served. I couldn't recommend this place more, it made our trip.

Very Nice focaccia. The salami, ham, cheese is the best quality. We ordered 3 different types and all of them did not disapoint. The focaccia comes with sauce of your choosing for free. We had the truffle one with mushroom. Good for lunch and breakfast. We also had sangria that fit nicely to the food.

We found the place on Trip Advisor and went for dinner. I was very happy because they had all classic cocktails on the menu so i ordered an Old Fashion and my fiance a Hugo. The place was full and the staff looked overworked, when the waitress was making our cocktails she said to the colleague i think i putted to much alcohol and certainly when we tried them they weren't even close to a decent cocktail, so i drinked water for the night and hoped for the better with the food a caprese salad and some grilled pork, which was the second dissapointment, we ate only the bread whith some cheap cheese they called "pecorino" and the caprese looked eateble compared how bad the other things were. If they had medium quality at least i would say 50 Euros is okay but that quality i honestly believe shouldn't be served at all, you can eat better from a supermarket with some chips and a beer in the street. I really hope they hire more staff so other people don't get disappointed like us.
Worst place of our 10 day vacations.

Cutest little spot with the coolest vibe. Staff is insanely friendly and takes such good care of you. Every small detail of this place is perfect and the mixed board was AMAZING!!!! They cut the meat right in front of you, serve fresh bread and the presentation is incredible. Highly suggest supporting this business!

After a busy morning of watching and exploring the wonderful city of Barcelona, we had lunch at Nero which was recommended from a close friend. Very small and off the beaten path. It would be hard to find if you were just walking around,however, it is a must to visit. We were greeted warmly from a nice young lady who shared with us the specialties of the restaurant and wines. A very small and intimate urban feel with many locals enjoying lunch. It is an italian specialty with Mediterranean roots. We shared a burrata salad with tomorrows and greens and then shared a beef sandwich that was recommended by the hostess. Both to die for with excellent taste and presentation… This was a great dining experience and one that if we are back in Barcelona, we will be back…. Loved the vibe and warmth of the staff.

On a Friday evening at 8pm we emailed ahead for a reservation at 9pm. When we got there our little table was waiting for us and we were seated immediately into their cozy dining area. The menu is short but I don't think you can go wrong. We had a burrata salad with tomatoes and balsamic, a bottle of pinot grigio, and a diavolo pizza, all of which were delicious and well-priced. The crust on the pizza was delicious -- crisp on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside, with a tasty sauce, plentiful cheese, and perfectly salty/tasty/crisp salami on top. Every once in a while while in Barcelona you may need a break from bravas and feel like having something different. For us this was the perfect change of taste after several days of (delicious) tapas, and we definitely recommend it. Note: this is a review for the Jaume location, not the one on La Rambla.

This is the best most fresh tasting pizza I’ve had. They even made it special for me to include extra spice That with their homemade recipe of sauce makes it a place I will definitely recommend and visit again. Charming quaint atmosphere. Came for lunch. Tried for dinner another night but like I said it’s amazing. Therefore a huge line and who knows how long the wait would have been. I highly recommend

I went for lunch with my partner and from the outset we really enjoyed the relaxing and friendly hosting. Inside is small but stunning and works really well. We sat at the bar and ordered a sharing platter which was fantastic! Great value but more importantly great food! We could also watch all the other phenomenal dishes being made! Lovely environment and would highly recommend to all.

Place is small but great atmosphere. Staff are lovely.
Fun to watch the meals being prepared. It’s simple, fresh and tasty food.
I would go again.
Meat / cheese platters are great and the focaccia i saw being made looked tasty too!

My friends and I had a great time here. We came around 9:30 with a reservation, it’s a pretty small place - maybe fits 20-30 people so make sure you book ahead. Sadly they didn’t have pizza for the night but the sandwiches we ordered were delicious and the drinks were great, our waitress made a really good espresso martini. I’d recommend to anyone in the area.

Walking by this small Italian eatery one night having been recommended by our cycling guide, we wondered if we should really be eating Italian food in Spain. However, having had tapas and Paella during our visit we stopped by for a glass of Sangria on the way back from eating out. Watching the sharing platters being prepared by the fabulous chef, we decided to go back for lunch the following day before our flight home.
If you get a chance to go……do! You won’t be disappointed.
