We had dinner at this restaurant and really enjoyed it. We were the only ones in the dining room, which my husband says he arranged! We had tapas and main course with a lovely bottle of red. Our server, although his English was not great, was excellent. We muddled through the menu and figured out what we wanted. What we... More

We were lucky enough to be staying near this branch of Trobador so we gravitated there on several occasions. We had breakfast there and also a late supper. What I am really reviewing though is the three course meal we had on our last night- it was devine. I can definitely recommend the Iberian ham on the slate and artichoke... More

Nice place. Good service. The food was not so impressive. Had shrimps for starters, and the garlic was burned. Ruinied it a bit for me.. Overall, ok.

We loved this restaurant. The menu was in English but the wine list was not. Our waitress's, while very lovely, did not speak English. We got another waiter who's English was great and recommended a wine when we explained we would like a dry Sav Blanc, his selection was perfect. We stayed for 3course meal consisting of tapas, main, desert.... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel (u232) as somewhere to eat on an otherwise quiet Sunday night. It was my birthday and we were not disappointed by the recommendation. We ate 3 courses, each well prepared and served and drank the house wine (not bad either) and enjoyed the whole experience. The menu was also in English which... More

I never expected their paella to be authentic and good cause this restaurant has a lot of branches and normally its commercialized food that they serve. To my surprise, their paella was good! We ordered calamari prawns, and sangria to match. Everything that we ordered was a hit! I will come back again to trobador when i visit barcelona.

My wife and I loved Trobador Rosello! An informal "local flavor" restaurant, the 26 euro prix fixe meal is not only a bargain but absolutely delicious. Each course (and there were five of them) was plentiful and more delicious than the next. Beginning with a mouth-watering array of tapas and ending with delicious desserts, the meal was superb. Service was... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
