Simple and good quality french food, as it should be in a bistrot. The "pichet de vin" was not a good choice, we should have ordered a glass of better wine, though as a "vin de table" it was ok. The waiter was helpful and friendly.

Everything at Au Port de la Lune is French canonical: steak tartare, bavette, oysters, confits, patés, cheeses, quiches, tartes and so many other yummy treats that the chef (also chef canonical - if you visit the restaurant you will see what I mean) cooks to perfection. The lunch menu (11 EUR and 15 EUR options) is one of the very... More

We go here often for a menu del dia, the food is really good authentic french cooking, I'm a big fan of the Pate and the Bavette is amazing. The restaurant itself nice on the inside, the music is fitting for the place it is and the staff are friendly and welcoming. A nice touch is the loyalty card where... More

I had a provelage to eat delicious food among friends. The service was good. The atmosphere was very positive so we stayed a little longer that we should. Definately good place to visit.

We had dinner at this small French restaurant 1 block off the Passeig de Gracia. It has no atmosphere to speak of, but the chef knows how to cook. The waiter/maitre d was very friendly and nice. He brought us a complimentary crock of duck rillettes with cornichon and bread. We ordered a nice, but inexpensive bottle of red wine... More

On our honeymoon we were headed to another restaurant and they were closed we stumbled on this one and what a great surprise! We had been eating typical tapas and this was a great change of cuisine giving us our first French experience. We had the foie gras de Pato and were pleasantly surprised the other highlight was the lentejas... More

We've gone there with the family, we were 4 people to had lunch. There weren't many people, we had a good table. The waiter was so kind, she took us many starters then we ate some salads, they have different type of salads and as main course we ate beef steak starters with raw egg. For dessert we took chocolate... More

Nice, little French restaurant in Eixample neigbourhood right next to Passeig de Gracia, with cosy decor and helpful staff. I went there pretty late during a Wednesday evening so it was barely any other guests there, but I was happy with the food and the service was excellent (since they didn't have any other guests than me to take care... nice frenchy ambiance, though can't point any remarkable dish coming from the daily lunch menu. Neither anything negative. Average, well located

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
