We were a group of five for lunch and were easily accommodated. The lady who served us was lively and provided excellent service. We had tapas and beer which were really nice. Would recommend this restaurant for lunch.

To be honest the first time we went in here was for a coffee as we needed the loo's. (Sadly lacking such facilities in La Ramblas) The tapas looked good so we returned later for lunch. Our busy waitress was helpfull and cheerful. She showed us to a table (Downstairs) We chose our tapas. Tortilla, patatas bravas, grilled cuttlefish and... More

Unfortunately, we did not enjoy this tapas experience whatsoever. We kept passing this place during our walks through Las Ramblas and we really wanted to give it a try because the tapas on display looked so tasty! However, once you get seated (far away from the displays so you have no images to reference the menu items too) everything went... More

Wouldn't even give this a star.. doesn't even deserve it. We were unlucky and walked into this place because we were drenched from the rain, looking for a tapas lunch. When we walked in they sent us upstairs telling us upstairs was to eat and downstairs was to drink. The waiter upstairs didn't sit us on any table to we... More

We were looking for a drink and tapas and were attracted by the sparkly lights from across the road. We asked what some of the tapas was and had a few things pointed out to us and went and sat down. We ordered from the selection we had just seen (confirmed in the English menu) and then the waiter came... More

Keep in mind I came in when there were few people in, we sat there for about 10 minutes before someone came to ask for drinks, during those 10 minutes another table of French people came in and they got served right away, I wanted to believe that maybe they were regulars, so another 10 minutes to get drinks and... Typical, Spanish cerveceria, at the beginning of one of the 5 Barcelona Ramblas. We went for dinner as tourist after a hard business day. Great local beer, average tapas (low garlic level is not an option in Spain and jambon might been better) proper paella, but the cod was really outstanding, perfectly grilled with the right side vegetables. Staff was... More

Neighbourhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
