I was lucky to find this restaurant open at 1:30 am. Me an my husband had Paellas and it was just amazing. I thought my seafood was the best and my husband thought his meat fest Paella was best. We were that happy with our food. But without the hospitality of Joseph our waiter, it would have not been possible.... More

Typical Spanish City style lunch restaurant, handling many guests in a short period of time. It even offers just fruits as a desert!

We had the mixed paella here, and it was awesome! The service was very, very friendly and attentive. The place has a lot of seating and a generally nice atmosphere. We chose it because it was close to our hotel and recommended by our tour guide. I think anyone would enjoy it.

The front desk guy from our hotel recommended us this restaurant and we were so glad he did. We ordered "Tapas" and all of them were excellent, delicious. A very nice Russian girl was our waitress. She was very attentive. She recommended us what to order and it was perfect. It is very closed to the Sants train station. It... More

We wanted to go eat outside of the tourist Area and just took the metro and go for a walk. Restaurant looked Nice from the outside and many locals there. Ordered the paela mix for 3 persons, and what a meal. In one word unbelievable. This restaurant is a must go, price versus Quality is great! No point for improvement... More

Our hotel recommended Casa Martelo and we were glad they did. My wife and I ordered the leg of lamb and it was fantastic. We had six in our group and I don't recall what specifically what the others ordered but I do remember them enjoying their dinners as well. The restaurant is a short walk from Torre Catalunya Hotel... More

tapas and seafood was vert good. The gazpacho was very good as were the grilled shrimp. Mussels were very tasty as well. Russian salad was generous and worth it. Staff rotated but took good care of us. I thought the bill was unusually fair. Good location near train station and metro.

We came here as a recommendation from our hotel. Two couples enjoyed this restaurant. Two had the ravioli which they raved about. I had the leg of lamb. It was delicious!! No mint jelly but when in Barcelona............. One had the cod and it was fabulous. I ordered a gin and tonic and it was the largest drink I've ever... More

We stayed near the main station at Sants and asked reception at the hotel for a local dinner recommendation. They gave us the card for Casa Martelo. After a short wait we managed to get a seat outside, however it was disappointment thereafter. It was quite pricey (for the average establishment that it clearly was), moreover the food, alas, also... More

Bottom line we'd come back again in a heartbeat. Recommended by our hotel and filled with locals on Wed night at 10:00 pm, they must be doing something right. They were when we were there for tapas: Iberico-stellar; manchego-good, gambas ajillo -superior; olives-standard; pan tomate- good; baby calamari-excellent; all washed down with a pitcher of the best Sangria we've ever...
