Ate here more than once and on my birthday over looking the view to the sea. Loved it the food was of high quality and the service kindly and attentive. They do give priority to hotel guests when they are busy. Would recommend.

My mum and I had a very nice glass of champagne with complimentary snacks. We found the waitresses and reception staff to be very polite and friendly. I think it's a nice change from the bars in town and was nice for a photo. Calm quiet drink with a bit of a view of barcelona.

I booked this on-line a couple of months before our visit. We were celebrating not only our 24th Wedding Anniversary but we also arrived in Barca the same day after cycling from Manchester, England for charity.Whilst the restaurant were informed of both there was no acknowledgement whatsoever (just a mention on arrival would have cost nothing). The views and decor are... More

This central roof terrace bar/restaurant had the potential to separate itself from others, what with the chic decor, beautiful views and comfortable lounge seating, however, disappointingly it failed to deliver. The waiting staff seemed hurried and somewhat rude at times. Finally having our order taken 15-minutes after we sat down, the experience went downhill from there. With incorrect orders (duplicates... We are staying at Hotel1898 and decided to eat dinner on our first night at the roof restaurant. Incredible views and surprisingly good tapas for a hotel restaurant. We would rate the food as good but he view as excellent, hence out very good rating. If you want one of the best views with your dinner (or drinks) - this... More

Booked this for a special evening on a hen weekend. Lovely evening with great food and drink and not unreasonably priced. Would recommend as something a little different in a busy city.

We had been booked into this restaurant by my in laws as a surprise for our honeymoon - situated on Las Ramblas, it as easy to find and hotel staff were friendly and directed us up to the restaurant. Upon arrival, we booked in and were shown to our reserved 'table' - not really a table at all but a... More

we stayed at the Hotel, and wanted to see this place, so we went up and waited for a table, we ended up sitting at a bar and the service was very very slow. We had to ask for flatware and napkins, and we think or waiter must have ended their shift and they forgot about us because suddenly we... More

We were in Barcelona for a long weekend. Friday until Monday. And after having tried several cozy but busy (street)terraces we want to find some of the more special and rare places Barcelona has to offer. After consulting some blogs and articles online we found a list of rooftop terraces. (For the others see my other reviews) The rooftop terrace... More

We came here for late night drinks on the roof top and it was so beautiful. The views were fantastic. The drinks were tasty! Everyone was really friendly! We had such a great night, that we decided to go back for breakfast for my friends 21st. The breakfast was heaven. 3 courses for 29.99. It was so worth every penny!... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
