I used to eat here every week in 2008. I have just recently returned to Barcelona and this was my first stop for food. Delicious, spicy (made to order), authentic Indian food. Highly recommended.

Great Indian dishes with good portions and rich flavors. The place is rather big and might need a little more atmosphere, but this is compensated by the quality!

We went to celebrate a year without smoke, and I loved... More

Useful location close to Rocafort metro and the Renoir cinema. Lots of choice of authentic Indian food. Plenty of vegan and veggie options too. One of the best Indian meals we've had. They do a very affordable lunch deal too.

It is often difficult to find a satisfactory Indian restaurant in Continental Europe, mainly because of a lack of competition and adaptation to local tastes, especially a problem in Spain where the natives are very allergic to hot spicy food. I had heard a couple of recommendations of this restaurant, so went with high expectations of finding a good Indian... More

After reading other reviews I was worried, but I found the restaurant to be very good. The waiter was very friendly and spoke English. The menu was in English/Spanish/Catalan. The food tasted nice, and I found the portion sizes to be the right size. Only knocked off one star because I thought the prices were probably €2 overpriced per dish.

The food was exactly what you would expect from an Indian restaurant although the portions are a little small for Irish and British appetites, I suspect. Very nice staff. Attentive and considerate.

Good indian food with hygiene ambience. However, the restaurant is slightly overpriced and better to go to Hotel Mount Everest Nepali restaurant to have same food at lesser prices.

Very delicious food at this Indian. We ordered samosas, malai kofta, paneer tikka, daal and it was all very tasty with spices and masala.

First what disappointed me: - The chicken portions were ridicously small. It makes the place expensive. - Same for the plain rice. Too small portions. - The bread with beef had not beef. - service could be improved. What I liked - The bread with cheese was really good, and there is lot too! It was ery apprecciated. - The... Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
