Told waiter of the problems and he basically said I don't know what I'm talking about... I lived 8 years in Barcelona.!!!! They refused to help us out and I had to... More

We were walking by while we were called in by Sinai and he was friendly so we decided to try the place. The server Akhtar Pervez for some reason was a bit uptight before we ordered the wine bottle (which was highly overpriced) and then started serving us as he should have to begin with. The food is far from... More

My husband appreciates good seafood and he declared the Zarzuela (fish stew) he ate here the best seafood dish he has ever tasted. I enjoyed the seafood paella and although not an avid seafood fan tried all that was served in this delicious paella. Seating was jammed in and we were pressured into eating here but we certainly cant complain... More

The best Paella we had in Barcelona! the staff were so nice and helpful, We ordered seafood and it was freshly cooked. I went there three times during my stay in Barcelona. Was the best each time i visited. Will definitely come back again. It's totally worth it!

We tried the seafood plate and seafood pealla and it was amazing and yummy. We had a great service and got even a goodbye kiss when leaving. The drinks are a bit pricey (sangria or beer), but the food is really good value for money. I would deffinatelly come back! :)

So we try the paeja and some entrance sea food, the entrance is quite awkward and makes no sense, the toast wasn't good and the smell also strange.... More

Mussels smell horrible. We told them about this situation. They said that "this is not their problem, it can happen sometimes." Because of this horrible smell, we could not eat our plates, and we just gave back to them. They did not accept this situation, and they forced us to pay all plates that we could not eat.

We went there for dinner, we ordered 3 plate of seafood. They were disgusting because mussels smell horrible and we said that we cannot eat them. Boss came to our table and he never accepted that they are not good. Our bill was like 75 euros but he only make a discount 15 euros. He Said that you have to... More

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
