Nanit has been a favorite of ours for a few years. It's about as close as you get to true shanghai food here in Barcelona. Jun mai has always got a smile for us. The shu mai is wonderful (both flavors) the the country noodles are great with extra chili.

Following the advice of some good reviews I decided to go to this restaurant for a quick lunch. I asked the menu (12 euros) with wongton soup and the noodles. The food was correct nothing more. I was surprised with the positive reviews. It isn't bad but I'm still trying to find a good Chinese restaurant in BCN.

I came here on my lunch break and I had to wait for over an hour to get my food, even though it was a menu meal. So if you are in a hurry, you better go to another place. The food is really good, though! The amount of food is just right, it is really fresh and is affordable.

I've been here twice - the last time in July 2014. Both times I've eaten some of the best chinese food I've tried. The dumplings are especially good. Packed with flavor. Friendly, and ok-english-speaking service as well. I will come back every time I'm in Barcelona.

I prefer to write a review that contributes positive experiences for other travellers to enjoy. Unfortunately this restaurant is not one of those places. It is well located and looked ok but that was it. I had to wait a long time to be served something that seemed like it was out of an instant noodle pack. A bowl full... More

The restaurant was close to Plaza de Cataluñya, which was convenient. The food was savory but a bit salty. The service was good with K pop being played.

APR 16 : Having read a glowing review in the Metropolitan, I was shocked as to how awful the food was in Bar Nanit. It was terrible, tasteless microwaved packet food similar to eating in a food court in a shopping mall. Overpriced and small portions. Unfriendly slow service. A complicated fast food style of ordering ,ticking dishes on a... More

The place itself is a little rough and ready. Menu not very extensive. Ordered noodles which looked like they had come straight out of a super noodle packet. Had dim sum which was tasty. Portions not very big. Starters came after main. You have a tiny saucer with which to eat from. It was an average experience but wouldn't go... More

Great food but the young Spanish waitress was rude and not ay all professional. Shame because due to the substandard we will not be returning. Unfortunate because the food is good.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
