Very good tapas, very good location in Gracia zone. A little far from the caos of Raval, Rambla and Born, but full of typical atmosphere of Spain!! Wonderful Sangria, octopus and pan y tomate!

I was on my honeymoon and a friend recommended this place for lunch. The tapas was excellent and the setting was really cool. We had croquettas, Jamon iberico belotta, patatas bravas and carpaccio. Everything was ridiculously tasty; my mouth is watering just writing about it now. The service was pretty good and I think it was appropriately priced for some... More

The owner, Sophia, is as charming as can be and we asked her to decide what we should eat! We were not disappointed as one dish was better than the next! They brought out several at a time. Hard working staff, delicious food, and a fun and casual atmosphere.

La Pepita is advertised as a tapas bar, which it is, however the menu is much more extensive. We had their lunch menu of the day that consisted of a bowl-not a cup-of very good soup, a mixed lettuce salad with several vegetables, and long sandwiches on thin bread that had high quality steaks of meat (tuna and salmon) topped... We finally got a table with 2nd try as they do not accept reservation, first time we stopped around 8:30pm and it was full of people so we did not wait. 2nd time we arrived around 8pm, bit less people than last time and we waited just a little bit time to get a table. The place is not spacious... More

We visited La Pepita last nigh and had an amazing meal. We let the staff just bring us what they recommended. Everything was well prepared and very tasty. Highly recommend the calamari, the octopus and burrata. The atmosphere is also fun...bring a marker so you can leave a message on the wall.

This tapas place as you enter has writing all over the walls by customers which adds character to the place. There is a large selection to choose from and the staff speak good English and the menus are in English too so no problems and they start dinner from 7.30. I thought the dish called V.I.C was a standout but... More

New concept of tapas, reinventing our spanish beloved pepito sandwich, feminizing it and using new ingredients under this same concept. Taking care of the traditional receipts, product´s season and tapas eating way. La Pepita is a place to come for an early aperitif, some beers and bravas, late lunch or dinner, at the marble bar or in the cozy small saloon. It is a familiar restaurant, where the value for money and treat is something we take care about.

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
