A couple of month ago, friends from some parts of Spain gathered in Barcelona for some celebration. We didn’t know where to go, but one of us heard good comments about this place. It was a success!! Pleasant atmosphere, excellent music and awesome cocktails.

I recently had a European Congress in Barcelona; as I was the Spaniard I was suppose to lead my colleagues from all around the world, so I asked a good friend of mine from Barcelona and he recommended Black Cafe Cocktail Bar. It was a success! Everyone enjoyed the very cool and relaxed atmosphere, the excellent music and of course... More

Caiprinhas and caipiroskas are my faves and now I know that I could find these delicious cocktails at Black café in Gràcia. Cosy atmosphere, great jazz/soul music, nice people... this place has become one of my favorites!

When my wife and I arrived on Barcelona from Bahia Brazil, the catalanish family told about Black Cafe Cocktail Bar. It's so amazing, in middle of bomemian area, Gracia. Black Cafe have good ambient, lovely drinks and cocktails, beautiful people and delicious songs.

I and my wife lived in New York for many years. There we became cocktail addicts. Two years ago we moved back to Barcelona and found out how difficult was to find a good cocktail bar in this town. After lots of trials we finally got it! Well hidden in the little streets of Gracia, we found the best cocktails... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
