Tired, hungry and in need of a cuppa we opened the door. It was 4pm and with respect the Spanish don't usually understand tea but I was wrong. Prepared to be wowed by the tea selection and gorgeous simple food. If you want your food served quickly and simultaneously stay away. If you want an amazingly different experience with taste... We visited this little hidden restaurant at around 4pm so most other visitors were having tea or wine but we ordered some food and we're glad we did! We had the bread with tomatoes - something that was done in a unique way with tahini sauce and some herbs (basil?). We also ordered a larger warm dish (the only one... More

My mother and I were actually staying in an Airbnb apartment right above this teahouse when we decided one afternoon - after exhaustively exploring Barcelona - to stop for some tea here. It is absolutely beautiful, very dark, cozy, and stony, and truly feels like a private hideaway in one of Barcelona's most touristy areas. It's only a couple pedestrian-trafficked... More

A gem on one of my favorite back streets in Barclona I just enjoyed a delicious mix of Italian and middle eastern cuisine mixed into what can best be described as a Calzone. The chef/bartender Caloni from Brazil poured a healthy glass of red which matched perfectly to make it a great, chilled meal after a long day. Highly recommended.

Came here with friends in the summer, I was initially attracted by the smell and interesting look of the restaurant when walking past. The food was fantastic, really different to anything else I've eaten and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Also enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their food and teas, which was nice. Very intimate place, with a great... More

This is an atmospheric beautiful but tiny tea house that serves tapas and wine too. The walls are all stone and there are only few small tables. It is on a narrow stone street in the heart of the old Jewish section of the city. The cheese plate, olives, tea and ambrosia (hot spiced red wine) are wonderful. one of... More

Impressive small restaurant which is located in a building from the XV, or even XIV century, in the heart of JEWISH quarter, a few houses away from the Sinanogue. The house next door is indeed medieval. The place is small, with no more than 10 or 12 small tables. It is a vegetarian place with a great selection of teas.... More

If you've got the time to wait over an hour for your food to arrive, then yeah, sure, come here. The bar is the kitchen, if you're a large group or the restaurant is busy then go elsewhere The ingredients are fresh and tasted good, prices are reasonable

We were very lucky to find a table and got a beer and an herbal tea. My beer was a special IPA, small batch from a local producer. The girl could describe me the beer in an appropriate way. 4€. The wife took a Moroccan mint Tea (3€? Can't remember), and was delightful (exactly as in Morocco). Super friendly staff,... More
