Ohhhh where do i even start! Food is painstaking overpriced. Service was horrendous. Atmosphere was sour. We went in here because a waiter dragged us in and at first sight it didn't seem so bad. We ordered the day's (week's?) special and nothing else. The waiter seemed really annoyed that we didn't order any drinks, but hey when you're not... More

We went there today for dinner and the food was awful. We had calamari (not fresh, but hard and rubberry like they were from frozen) and patatas bravas (just awful). We had ordered a seafood paella and it was disgusting. The rice was undercooked the seafood was poor quality and chewy. The staff were also not particularly pleasant. Avoid avoid... More

20 E for two beers - that was a shocker . Didn't stay for food . It looked awful coming out. Wish we had walked further in the rain rather than stopped here

We walked on the boulevard and stopped there because we were hungry, a big mistake. The menu doesn't include all the prices and the waiter can barely speak... The food was expansive (over 50 € for one dish and two drinks) and was really not good quality... I will not go there again or recommend anyone else...

Sat on the Rambla on my last day, just waiting for the bus to the airport. I enjoyed my beer and tapas and I must say I thought it would be more expensive. It was not cheap but I thought sitting on the Rambla itself I would be more expensive. 30 Euros for some tapas, a huge beer for me... More

Lovely little restaurant nice food. Excellent service. Very polite staff. Paella is gorgeous. And a glass of sangria is very large and very potent so be warned.

Called in here with eight of my family for an afternoon drink. Waiter was very rude to us when asked for small 500ml beers insisted we must have large goldfish bowl 1000ml beers if we wanted to sit outside and refused to serve us! We left and took our money to a neighbouring restaurant who were happy to serve us... More

We never complain about things especially online but this does require a comment. Sat down & ordered 2 beers & a plate of chips, waiter wasn't happy as we didn't order a full meal so he asked us to move tables, we did but shouldn't have, thirsty after 20 km walk. Asked why with a nonsense reply. Didn't have a... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighbourhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
