My daughter is living in Barcelona and found this small restaurant and we went on Christmas Eve for lunch. The welcome and service was fantastic. The special paella was best I have every had. Try the traditional Cava which comes in a plain bottle with...More

My fiance and I decided to eat at El Xiringo, located in the Barceloneta neighborhood on the first night we arrived in Barcelona. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted by the friendly waiter and chef. It is a small restaurant (only a few tables)...More

Great decoration and ambiance. Friendly and warm service. The highlight of the meal were the black croquetas and the octopus paella. Definitely order those. The deserts were also really good. A bit expensive but when you take account the quality it's actually fairly priced.

I came here with friends. The service was excellent, the paella was the best I've tasted and the wine was equally excellent. Highly recommended.

I live already a while in Barcelona and I tried many paella restaurants, but this one is the best there is. Xavi puts his soul and love into the food and the service! I definitely recommend this place to eat good quality paella, you even...More

This restaurant is tremendously over-priced and the food is pretty disappointing. Don't be fooled by the fact that they don't have a list of wines (with prices) - this is their opportunity to sell you a completely mediocre bottle of wine for way more than...More

It's a must if you want to enjoy the best and original rice in Barcelona. Kitchen made with love. More than 200 references of wine and cava. You will feel like home.

This is a small, pleasant neighborhood place, a couple of blocks back from the beach, with absolutely amazing food. We had a couple of less-common paella-style 'arrossos' - pork and mushroom, and vegetables. They were both incredible. I don't know how they get so much...More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
