We went her on the recommendation of our hotel and we loved it so much we went two nights in a row. The food was DIVINE, the servers (and owners) were very nice and helpful, the wine was delicious and the price was fair. Everything we ate was delicious and beautifully presented. I am still dreaming about the beef cheeks... More

Went here on a recommendation from our hotel, so glad we did. It was the best meal we had in Barcelona. We sat inside and the owners were so friendly they gave us some advice on what to order and which wines were their favorites, order the beef cheeks. It was very reasonably priced. We liked it so much that... More

Wow, what a treat for our first night in Barcelona! The receptionist at our hotel recommended this place to us so we went straight here. We got here for 7ish and enjoyed a drink inside before being seated outside the tavern. The staff were amazing, so friendly, chatty, welcoming and smiley!! We had around 6 tapas between us (the octopus... More

The title of the review says it all ... fabulous. Great food, great atmosphere, welcoming staff. The whole area is buzzing, but this place had something special.

A great selection of tapas is on offer here, including plenty of tasty vegetarian bites. I was reliably informed by a local that the food was Basque and the huge selection of tapas we munched our way through...there were seven of us....was delicious. We'd have liked to sit outside, but there were no available tables so we went in. Probably... More

Great place with nice staff. We came hungry but that turned out to be good as both tapas and pintxos were delicious! Perfect after a walk down from the Montjuic park.

If you would like to eat Tapas in a lively neighborhood, go there. We went there for an apéro, but after only a few Tapas, we almost had a whole dinner. The quality is great and the place is very nice - definitely worth to go there!

Our landlord recommended this place in the neighborhood for us. Well, thanks to him! Such a great place. Small, cosy, local - and the food is so so good. A great place for an intimate dinner. Thumbs up for great tuna.

Relaxed atmosphere along the carrer Blai; good place with a terrace which closes around midnight. Good service and all pinxtos are made on the spot and fresh for reasonable prices .

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
