Visited for lunch today and found the food was incredibly well presented and delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, always with a smile and quick. The menú del día is excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Definitely on our list for dinner next time we visit Barcelona.

A warm welcome from the hosts and an excellently thought out menu and wine list makes this a great night out in the popular area of Gracia in Barcelona. The Swiss proprietor looked after us so well and we loved the atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was immaculate and we even tried the Kangaroo Carpaccio which was delightful. We... More

Upon the recommendation of a friend who formerly resided in Barcelona, we ventured to la Minerva for dinner. We were certainly glad we did! Simon, our waiter, was very congenial and attentive to our every need. After an interesting amuse bouche and appetizer, my wife enjoyed a bountiful portion of lamb while I had quite tended roast of venison for... More

We paid 20 Euros for what can only be described as burnt steak, the food served to us looked just awful, oh the 20 euros did include a sprite.

Booked this for a Birthday meal for seven people, age range teens to 50's Great food beautifully presented in a very comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Simon made us very welcome and our glasses topped up! David the Chef produced some wonderful, soft on the eye food for us. Thanks guys it was lovely.

We came here after reading the great reviews on TripAdvisor and had a great experience. The tempura chili octopus was wonderfully creative and yummy. It just had a little too much dough. The lubina was fresh, juicy and perfectly cooked. The cheesecake is a must. It's the Europeanized version that's super soft and creamy. The waiter is very friendly and... More

Lovely setting in a nice area, but above all great staff. I eat out a lot but I haven't ever come across such a genuinely nice and helpful waiter. The service was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere and the decor are simple but really nice. The food was great and the portions a decent size too. I will definitely go back... More

One of the greatest restaurants in Barcelona. Situated in " Gracia "'s district, this restaurant offers you, not only a great food&swine menu but one of the greatest service ever. They are really kind and sweet, music is very nice and the place is situated in a quiet neighborhood and it's easy to get in. Definitely if you are in... More

A little out of the immediate touristic route there is this terrific restaurant. Especially i you're fed up with the abundance of basic tapas-restaurants. I had a sublime diner, the service was top notch and prices (although a bit higher then the average restaurant) were very reasonable. I had a very, very good diner there, wholeheartedly recommended.

Description
Restaurant created on the desire to offer a Swiss-styled service, with a local personality. The cuisine is international, though highly influenced by French and Italian cuisines; The key is the use of fresh local products in home-made dishes. One can chose from our selection of dishes or try out the tasting menu created by Chef. The restaurant is divided on two floors, one being ideal for groups up to aprox. 50 people.

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
