Very expensive You pick 2 appetizers and 2 kinds of meat. For a meal price of 49 euro you would expect more upscape entree than gyoza and yakisoba. And meat portion is extremly small. Definately targetted toward europeans who never experienced yakiniku or korean bbq. The system is copied from korea/japan with no improvement but only fancy display of in... More

Me and my husband came last night and it was amazing! We didn't think to book but I would suggest you do as it's only small and very popular. We had the €39 set menu and every course was delicious! It wasn't just good food it was a really fun experience cooking the beef on hot coals. The beers are... More

You partly cook the food yourself - it's fun but perhaps not an ideal place to come on your own. A small restaurant and they keep the door locked so ring he bell !

Great food, service and ambience. If you like Japanese food, definitely pay this place a visit. The various tasting menus cover all types of dish, so plenty of choice and variety. The minced beef, sweet egg and rice - despite being one of the more understated dishes on the menu - was one of the most delicious meals I've ever... More

I went to this restaurant with my 10 year old son. We both enjoyed the high quality meat and the friendly atmosphere in the restaurant. It felt like our own barbeque-party! We had no room for dessert, but the waiter sent some japonese dessert with us in a box at no charge. Lovely gesture, great service. Try this restaurant!

Well fed with soup, barbecue Japanese beef and vegetable soup. Very merry with sake and plum wine. This is a small restaurant. Each table has its own charcoal grill pit. Food is great. Lots of fun.

We had the 66 Euro menu. All the courses were very tasty. The Katsu , the gyozas, the meats were yummy. The only complain was that all of us were still hungry after the meal as the servings were very small. They should add another course of rice with something in the end as a filler. The restaurant is conveniently... More

I came here for dinner in December 2016 - it was delicious! The restaurant is hidden on a quiet street just off La Rambla. We had so much fun cooking our own meat and it was all so tasty! Will definitely return the next time I'm in Barcelona.

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
