We just got finished our Barcelona Segway Tours and our guide, Ivo, told us about this area of town called Born. As we strolled into this area we came across this cafe. It was just what we were looking for. Fresh pasta, calzones, and pizza. They were quick, helpful and very gracious to us. Everything was delicious as we got... More

Because of the quality of the food. The pizzas are not good enough and the prices are higher. Also the staff is not kind with the customers.

Then I returned to Barcelona with my mum this week and couldn't help but bring here too. Even took a... More

very small round tables high perched uncomfortable stools and no place to put your personal belongings eg : coat., bag. The choice is quite limited and their mushroom pizza is terrible they don't tell you and with the first (and actually last ) bite you have the horrid surprise to find that it contains onions. Their ham pizza and goat... More

Small but very cozy pizza bar. Large variety of delicious pizzas which you must combine with their own version of sangria. Wonderful combination! And all of it for a great price!

Our daughter loved the pasta and pizza and as we were staying almost directly above the little cafe we were frequent visitors. The food is actually for better than you would expect and it has a real buzz about it in the evenings.

Just called in as we were passing lovely slices of pizza salads and drinks in this cosy little place. Lots of people mainly locals calling for a quick lunch. If you are passing its well worth a visit and great value for money.

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
