Little great tasty selection of two dishes plus dessert all day long. Cheap as well (menu was 10 euro, drinks excluded). Very Recommended.

I highly recommend this place to eat, especially early afternoon where I got a starter, main, beer and coffee (could have had desert) all for 10.50 euros. It tasted great as well. They have a nice range of food from local dishes to homely simple food for the less adventurous eaters. Their lasagne dishes are to die for. I think... More

A little gem in the Raval set up by two lovely italian girls. Smiley and friendly stuff, you feel like home! The best lasagna and panna cotta in town. Give my word!

La Cucchiarella is a lovely little italian cafe/ restaurant just off the Rambla del Raval, nicely decorated and with good quality food. You can see most of the food on offer behind the glass counter, including various types of ready-cooked lasagnas which they will warm up for you. They do a lunchtime formula at 8.50€ (drinks not included), and have... More

Its at best a nice small cafe, with self service but do not underestimate the quality of food here. We were four of us who tried a couple of different things, like salad with Buffalo Mozzarella (of all the mozzarellas I have had this was far more superior), we had lasagne (both veg and non veg) and a quiche I... Food was brilliant, great quality ingredients served by friendly staff. As previous reviewers point out, it's nout fine dining more of a quick relaxing bite to eat in a friendly environment.

A very small friendly café type place, just next to Barceló Raval hotel in the wee side street, with home cooked food served on paper plates which was delicious, very popular, wine served in a plastic cup, mixed croquettes to start, then lasagne ( various fillings on offer) all served by a luvly lady who spoke broken English, which added... Don't expect fine dining. these owners are eco friendly . paper plates . etc. there is only room for around 12 people, but the food is brilliant . the lasagne is made to order. i had lasagne with bacon and egg through it. my wife had it with pesto and beef. both were superb. the mixed starter of couches were... Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
