Stumbled across this little gem when traversing the city between Mt Monjuic on our way to Parc de Guëll. The Menu del dia at only €9.5 was great value with decent portions & a lot of great tasty selections. We opted for the eggplant tomatoe salad & hummus falafel to start & then the lamb sausage pits & chicken vege... More

We ordered light and cheap thinking it would just be a snack and got loads! So much cheaper than other places in Barcelona, and great service and food! Excellent choice of Moroccan food... don't over order!!

If you like the middle eastern kitchen you should definately go to the restaurant in Barcelona! we both had a menu for only 17,5 for 3 courses. The tangines with chicken and the one with meatballs we can definately recommend. Nice fresh and and crispy baklava for dessert. Would love to come back at try the other stuff. Portion sizes... Our last night in Barcelona was spent on Avenida Blai. We found La Fibula after spending most nights dining in Spanish restaurants and wishing to change cuisines. This place was great! The Hummus, pita bread and Eggplant appetizers were fresh and tajine entrees were delicious. We chose lamb royals and vegetable. Service was polite and efficient. I would check this... More

A have no comments for that restaurant, I don't even think that can be named as a restaurant. In my opinion it is very expensive and the food is not as delicious as it seems in pictures.

We found this Arabic/North African restaurant in a street full of tapas restaurants near our hotel, The Parallel. It proved so good we returned 2 days later to sample more of their excellent menu. We particularly enjoyed the vegetable tagine, enselada tabule and chicken couscous but we shared a number of dishes and all were excellent. Wine and beer prices... More

The sharing platter was delicious and we found ourselves fighting over the last lamb skewer. The meatball tagine was also delicious but I felt the portion was on the smaller side, especially for what they were charging. Nonetheless, a very good experience and I would recommend this place if you want to try something different.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
