I recently visited Barcelona and after visiting a museum nearby I wanted to catch a breath and have a cup of coffee. So I found this place, where you could also sit outside and since I am a smoker it worked out great... that was the only positive though. I waited for a long time before I was served, it... More

Stumbled into this cafe late one night after looking at the Sagrada Familia. We were promptly served by a very polite guy and initially the cafe was empty but couple other customers came in. Ordered a coffee and churros. It is one of my favourite desserts as well as my partner. The churros was served with a large amount of... More

We walked up here lunchtime on the day we arrived in Barcelona. Not having got our bearings we chose this place as there was available seating outside even though this is situated in a very busy area. Only had a light snack and a few beers which were good value.

We stopped here for something sweet one afternoon. Thought it would be pleasant experience just like everything we have had so far in Barcelona. We ordered two types of crepe, one with chocolate and one with cream and chocolate, but the crepe with cream came out looking like nothing on the menu advertised. I pointed to the picture of the... I've been coming to Barcelona for 25 years, and lived for a while 20 years ago. I have loved this company's ice cream the whole time, and have travelled to over 40 countries since, without ever finding ice0cream better than Farggi. The clean taste, and lack of bulking with sugar, is what makes it so different. All the flavours taste... More

The perfect place to enjoy a drink, sandwich and ice cream sitting in the window watching the world go by in Pl. Catalunya.

After a nice tapas dinner & a walk back to our hotel, we were craving some gelato. The hotel staff sent us 3 blocks down & to the left to Farggi on Las Ramblas. Beautifully displayed flavors. LOVED the Viennese Coffee flavor. Did not try their other food or drink so can't recommend.

Was a bit hesitant to buy from a big franchise but it was awesome! The churros chocolate dip is the best I've tried. It's like a pudding and I would suggest you ask for takeaway so that you get to finish them at your hotel

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
