I absolutely loved this place! I had a recommendation from a friend to try it and I definitely plan on going again before I leave Barcelona! The service was amazing, the shop was cute, and the coffee was the best I've had in my life.

This is where I get my bags of ground coffee, and occasional coffee drink to go. I believe the family has been roasting in this neighbourhood for 3 generations. They care a lot about the coffee process and it shows. I buy coffee here as gifts for my family and friends back home in the U.S., and they always appreciate... More

Stumbled upon this 'Magnificent' coffee house and ended coming back every day for the entire stay! Quite simply, I do not know how I will ever drink an English coffee again! An absolute must for coffee lovers - head for the Santa Maria del Mar church and follow your nose x

I found most coffee not better than Nespresso in Barcelona. The El Magnifico satisfied me with good coffee. The espresso got body and different flavor stages. I am not sure a piece of chocolate was included or for free. The chocolate served the flavor of coffee. For the beans, it was difficult to choose one for home in more than... More

The best coffee (take away) in town. And if you are a coffee lover here you can buy coffees from all over the word.

This coffee shop is awesome. They are friendly, fast but efficient...we go here every morning. Not a place to sit and have coffee, but to buy bags of freshly ground coffee and or a coffee to go. They offer soy milk as an option which is fabulous and a dark chocolate square with tech coffee.

Not a real cafe to sit, but just get in line for a great coffee to go. If you are in for very strong espresso, this is the place to go!

This is a very special coffee shop. But the staff made a big mistake by asking me how I would like to have my coffee. So I had a choice that made them to prepare it at least 20 minutes.

I visited this coffee shop based on TripAdvisor reviews, and so elated I did! The coffee was the best I had during my stay in Barcelona and the nearby surrounding villages. I bought an 8-ounce bag to take home and was shocked at the excellent price!

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
