Expensive place. Conceived to please international hipster-wise tourists. Bad coffee. The food is very colorful but completely uninteresting. This is not Barcelona, go for something real. Staff ridiculously dressed to give you the impression that it is a "cool" place. Everything is fake.

Order the huevos rancheros. Thank me later. Really cool wee spot for a relaxed breakfast/brunch. We came back the following day; loved it.

This is a very nice little café style restaurant with good handcrafted beer. A favourite in Barcelona.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this
gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an

spots in the entire city. A sense of humble
authenticity protrudes from the many independent
record stores, second hand shops, and student bars
that seem to light up the streets day and night. The
rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
