For the last 2 or 3 years we used to come here because the rice was good and flavoured the chicken curry was delicious , and it was not expensive Now today was the second time we got bad rice ( the basmati was overcooked and had no flavour) the chicken curry was in a sauce that had too much... I don't even know where to start with this - the ingredients used seemed to be of the lowest quality i.e. the paneer was some kind of liquified puree, the 'lamb' we don't think was actually lamb. And to top this all off the price is far too high for this level of food. I realise this is in a... More

Found this little place in a side street just off the beach, yes at first it looks like a kebab shop as they do sell kebabs, but the Indian restaurant is within the same part. The food at lunchtime was delicious , they were very friendly and the food was presented nice. They cooked it just as we liked and... More

Had a lovely lunch here. Just off the main walk down the beach area. Very friendly service and was able to give us curry cooked with minimal fat that we requested. Hot in heat but not too spicy hot just very tasty starter and main course. Very good value at less than £10 with a drink. I would recommend this... More

I ate with 8 friends and it was awful. We took a durum which was the worst that I never ate. I cannot understand people who can like it. Maybe the restaurant it's not the same, but the Kebab is really horrible. In more of that, the restaurant is really dirty. Nobody of us finished the durum so much is... More

After a week with Mediterranean food, we wanted something else. We were going to take a walk on the beach, and this restaurant is very close. The restaurant looks like a kebab place, except for the white tablecloths. The menu is a mess and could use a makeover. For example are most of the vegetarian dishes listed as starters, but... More

We ordered normal Indian food. The food was decent but there was no one to attend . We asked for some ketchup but the waiter refused and gave aachar which was charged later in the bill . Moreover , they refused to give water and said we need to buy it instead . I could not find my mobile and... More

Located conveniently, this was quite a nice find on our first day in Barcelona. The service was quick and good and the food was just amazing! The best thing about this place was the value for money, you got good quantity of food for a reasonable price. Definitely recommend the chicken tandoori, shish kebabs, chicken biryani and chicken karahi. Great... More

Let's clarify, at the entrance the restaurant may look like typical kebab shop but it is not. Enter, take a sit and order some Indian food. I took vindaloo gambas and i'm not disappointed. Thank me later.

The Restaurant is quite small from the outside and not somewhere you would just stumble across but the food is brilliant. I really enjoyed it and its a good price. Will be back again very soon!

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
