We ate here everyday our breakfast, the food is tasty, the staff is very friendly and the prices are good. We eat for 20€-s for 2 persons, price which includes the beer and the fresh orange juice. The price is better then at the hotel, and food is better. I recommend it to everybody! Buon provecho! :-)

I visited here in May while I was staying in Barcelona with my mum. We visited on our first and last nights and had an excellent meal on both occasions. The food was very good and the service was prompt and polite. Well worth a slight detour from Las Ramblas if you want a quick, tasty and reasonably priced meal.

We ate there 2 times. Food was good, but we decided to find a more healthy food. This is kind of fast food.

Ordered mixed meat paella but the meats were not fresh, expecially the pork has rotten taste that I had to spit it out and abandon the meal totally. Called the attention of the servers but there was not a hint of apology offered. I remembered I saw a lady came in with a covered dish and left immediately while we... More

Would rate this as a 3 1/2 if I could. Found this place making our way back from walking to and up Montjuic. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Great place for a snack and a drink. Worth a stop.

The food was good and prices reasonable. We stayed in a nearby hotel and this place was convenient after a day out and about. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ate here 3 of the 4 days we stayed in Barcelona. They offered us free WIFI which was good. Family of 4 can eat here for 40 euros no... More

We visited this place on our way to hotel after a stroll along La Rambla. The staff was hospitable, caring and friendly. I suppose food and prices seem like most anywhere else in Barcelona and we did not order anything special - just pasta, pizzas and drinks. But the atmosphere of the place and hospitality of the people are nice... More

It is one of the few authentic Cataluña restaurant in the area because the other restaurants are managed by foreigners. It is clean and cheap. The staff is friendly and the menu has a variety of Spanish dishes.

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
