This is a fast bustling family run cafe/restaurant that I have been to dozens of times and I can assure readers that for around ten euros for a simple good quality 3 course lunch this place is one of the best in the area. Really popular with local office workers and residents and you need to get there a bit... More

We are flattered that you liked our restaurant, care and food in general ... though we see one of your dishes was too salty ... and we regret. That day then we realized that the gnocchi were very salty although it is not our custom but these things can happen ... but what we deeply regret is that at the... More

Colourful, vibrant friendly place on a small square in Poblenou, one street back from Pere IV. Very good, well prepared Italian dishes featured on the ‘Menu del Dia’ that we had had. The lunchtime dishes were more innovative and with greater depth of flavour than is usually the case in Barcelona’s Italian restaurants. They’ve a good reputation for their range... More

Me and my colleagues regularly eat lunch here. The midday menu is great, it never failed to disappoint, nor had any bad experience with the staff. We were always served quickly and professionally. Apart from the traditional dishes such as pasta, salmon with rice, steak, etc, it is nice to see some more innovative dishes such as pumpkin&walnut lasagna. In... More

we went there for lunch. The waiters were running around feeling stressed and being really rude. They brought our 2nd course while we were still eating the first one, and were surprised when we told them to take it back in because it would get cold by the time we got to it. Very little professionalism. Change the waiters. The... More

Found this restaurant thanks to the Barcelona Poblenou map we picked up on our first night in town. Look out for it if you are visiting. Very reasonably priced freshly prepared lunch in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Would definitely return

Staying in Poblenou

Neighbourhood Profile
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
