We found this gem by chance as we needed a meal beofre leaving for the airport. Not a massive menu but well presented food and xzcellent wine. I had the lamb followed by the red velevt cake. mmmm we will visit again when in Barcelona.

We happened across this restaurant while walking in the street. I think that most days you'd need a reservation but we were lucky I guess. Great vegetarian options, we had a whole meal comprised of different tapas.

I was in Barcelona for my summer holidays with my friend, and I went in that restaurant; Very good beef , very good meals , everything was good . Only little portions! But it doesn't matter! Try it!

We went to this restaurant twice as we just happened to stumble across it one night and loved it so much that we returned a few nights later. The food was amazing. We had tapas which gave us an opportunity to sample lots of different things. The first night we had the set menu - 3 courses and it was... More

We found this lovely hidden gem of a restaurant in a quiet side road at the back of the university, just a stones throw from the Gran via and what a wonderful find it was. We were welcomed by a really friendly waiter who spoke excellent English, but was great as we told him we wanted to order in Spanish... More

I've been a few times for both lunch and dinner. The lunch serving is really a perfect menu, and costs little for what they serve. I've been twice for dinner and had a really tasty soup and tapas, and another time some of the best grilled octopus I've ever had. There's also a great wine selection with some really nice... More

I go daily with my coworkers, usually we choose the daily menu instead of the tapas, 'las cocas' has become my weakness. but it needs a beverages menu.

Had lunch outside with 4 friends at 9 Granados yesterday afternoon. There were 3 employees, 1 of whom was assigned to the terrace. That employee was the single-most inefficient server I have ever seen in Barcelona. Although there are only 6 outdoor tables and inside was virtually empty, our beverages took 20 minutes to arrive. The server initially offered 1... More

Excellent little place. Quiet pedestrianised street to eat on. Helpful staff. Excellent tapas. Reasonably priced. The veal was cooked to perfection. The fried Bree & aubergines were delicious. Very much enjoyed.

8 of us ate here on a slow night. Service was good, the food was average at best. Wines were very inexpensive, as was the food, so at least we didn't overpay. I sampled four dishes, nothing was worth the visit. Also, management should think about lowering the lighting. It was like klieg lights right overhead, ugh.

Thank David D

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
