We have been seated although we arrived late, a party of 6 and the room was already almost full. An additional table was set for us. The food was also very good (the Cecina de Leon especially) and the atmosphere very nice and friendly. Great...More

This is not just my kind of place. The staff was very friendly, the food was nice (tapas), cocktail also. The place is small and tables are too close to each other. The interior is disappointing, there some interesting elements of decorations, but I couldn't...More

This little bar is well hidden, but worth a visit. We stopped for cocktails one Thursday evening and weren't disappointed, good atmosphere, good selection of cocktails and friendly staff We didn't eat but the food smelt great.

We were finding it difficult to find somewhere to eat on a Friday night and stumbled upon this place. From the outside there doesn't seem to be a lot going on and when we arrived the bar was quiet but it wasn't long until it...More

I read the mixed reviews and decided to try this place out. But frankly the cocktail is not too bad but pizza wise, not too bad but not so good. Crust not perfect, toppings not so generous or fresh. I Guess the food here might...More

I went here 2 times. It could not have been better. The cocktails were expertly prepared. Every drink I had was the best in its own right. I enjoyed empanadas and pizza, both were extremely delicious. The staff was super accommodating and very helpful. Best...More

Went to this place as we stayed in the hotel next to it. It's a small intimate place, perhaps 8 tables at a push, we went around 9pm knowing that locals eat late so we managed to get a table although even at that time...More

We visited as a family of 5. It is a small place but a nice atmosphere. The lady running the place works very hard but needs more staff. Pizzas were from ready prepared bases, not fresh, so not so good. Service really slow. There is...More

El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this
gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an
excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic
spots in the entire city. A sense of humble
authenticity protrudes from the many independent
record stores, second hand shops, and student bars
that seem to light up the streets day and night. The
rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day

Domino Bar specialises in cocktails, pizzas and empanadas. Located in the bohemian district of El Raval, Domino Bar is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy freshly prepared food in a cozy yet lively atmosphere.

The Italian style pizzas are complimented by an empanadas and starter menu. These include traditional tapas dishes like patatas bravas, nachos, cheese and ham boards, as well as more creative plates including provolone cheese with sobrasada cured sausage and honey.

The cooked to order Italian style pizzas include new creations and spins on classic dishes. Try the “beso de uva” (grape kiss) made with mozzarella, cured manchego cheese, almonds, white grapes, strawberries and chicken. Each of the pizzas have unique flavours and creative touches. The Domino Bar also has a variety of empanadas with different tastes and flavours made using fresh pastry and baked to perfection. The choices include chicken, beef, tuna and vegetarian options. The specialities are the caprese empanada stuffed with fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil and black olives and the chicken empanada of fried onions, zucchini, eggplant, peppers and seasoned chicken.

The bar is also famous for its large and elaborate cocktail menu. There are nineteen different colourful choices like dark ‘n’ stormy, maui dog and lady pleasure, the names of these cocktails are as entertaining and interesting as the drinks themselves. The recommendations are “mamba negra” made with vodka, lemongrass, kaffir lime, mint syrup and chocolate liquor and the “freshbull” which is made with gin infused with licorice root, cassia, tamarind juice, tangerine syrup, dragons eye fruit, curaçao liquor, lemon juice and decorated with cinnamon and rosemary.

Make sure you head to Domino Bar when you’re in Barcelona for some fun and fabulous creations.
