For somewhere that provides great value food with a smile definitely give this place a go. The decor is quirky and fun giving this restaurant an interesting but enjoyable vibe. Quite a few options for veggies too!

We went there searching for vegetarian-friendly places on TripAdvisor. It is better to book you table in advance in the evening, as the inner space is small, and staying outside in November is not a greatest idea for a family with children. We had tasty empanadas, the potatoes from oven with spicy sauce were great. The salad of the house... More

The atmosphere of the place is really nice - trendy, yet intimate, not too busy, but not too slow either and a good mix of locals and tourists. Wonderful casual yet friendly service and the food to match. The sangria is tasty and gets rid of your thirst, but be warned of the amount of alcohol in it. Recommend it... More

aQistoi offers a wonderful lunch that includes a couple of empanadas, patatas bravas, and sangria or beer. The empanadas were a welcome change from tapas. We ordered cheesecake for dessert. My husband said it was the best cheesecake he had ever eaten. He wanted to tell the waiter and asked me the Spanish translation of "Your cheesecake is the best... More

Stopped by here for lunch and was so happy we did. Empanadas were awesome, spinach, spicy chorizo, chicken with plum and the bacon with goat cheese. Washed them down with house sangria that definitely packed a punch. Super affordable, very friendly staff!!

Came here after a visit to Sagrada Familia (and walking to the houses/shopping on Gracia). They don't close for siesta so we thought it'd be the perfect pitstop. The waiter was super nice. He asked if we understood Spanish (we did) and explained the menu to us that way. Definitely order the special which gives you an order of bravas,... More

This small restaurant takes reservations & you need them as there are only 4 or 5 tables plus 4 stools at the bar. We were lucky as the bar could accommodate our group of 4. The proprietor moved us to a table after about 10 minutes when some folks no-showed for their reservation . Menu is in several languages. They... More

We had a fabulous meal here. It's very straightforward and unfussy. The food though is great from the empanadas which were exquisite through to a range of other tapas. All served with a big smile from whom we assumed were the owner and his wife.

We read the reviews on trip advisor and as there were vegan options i just had to visit. Although small, the host found us a table straight away. We had the empanada's and patas bravas as part of a deal with some sangria. It was really really tasty, the sangia was very strong but lovely and the hosting was great.... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
