Highly recommended. Excellent service. The waitress recommended some lovely seafood dishes, they were all perfect, tasty, delicious and freshly made with top ingredients. The seafood soup was to die for, the seafood paella was the best we ever had, very fresh, well cooked, great texture...More

Excellent Seafood in setting that likely hasn’t changed much in 30 years. Popular with the locals this is a must for any Barcelona visit.

It was recommended by our hotel, but we felt a bit taken. The food was good and the portions large, but it was quite expensive. It was not a local hangout, but seemed more tourist oriented. For the prices they charged, I would have preferred...More

A la carte, very confusing menu, very expensive, restaurant need update, from the some customer photos on the wall, look like the restaurant is something very big, but not very impressed.

Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to
be an independent town until late into the 19th
century. Though it’s just a short commute away from
the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole
different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many
international artists to this area, resulting in a
wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy
boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the

Among the three hundred diners that fill this 30-year-old restaurant every day, you may spot the King of Spain, movie stars, and politicians. Botafumeiro has to be a well-oiled machine to keep all and sundry happy and coming back for more, and it does. The decor is so trad, with wood railings and banisters, white table linens, and nautically-themed art and objets. The menu focusses on the sea, try fruits de mer for two to start, followed by anglerfish fisherman's stew with white beams or one of the barbecued fish, then a dessert of Belgian chocolate volcano with chocolate sherbet. Wine list is an ambassador for Spanish wines.
