I'm so sad we used our only night in Barcelona to eat here. My parents had eaten here previously and recommended it but years later it's nothing but a tourist trap. The tapas/entrees were so expensive for Barcelona standards-around 15 euros for tapas and 25...More

We were there for lunch, "Canelones de sempre" traditional and delicious. Was long time that we were there, and fortunately we were not disappointed. Camalares a la parrilla were perfect, like my mother in law used to prepared these. So happy because the place was...More

If you want great Catalan food, fresh ingredients and an authentic experience then look no further! When we arrived people were queuing outside waiting for this amazing restaurant to open. The seafood paella was delightful and the calamari was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Lot of people recommended this restaurant and it is two streets away from our flat so we went after we made a reservation cause at this time the restaurant is not open every day and only at night. People were saying that it's familial and...More

I recently dined at Can Culleretes and I must say after travelling around Rome & Barcelona for 8 days - it was by far hands down - THE BEST DINING EXPERIENCE! I was attracted to the history of it being Barcelona's oldest and Spains second...More

This place has one claim to fame: it is apparently the oldest restaurant in Barcelona. When you see the pictures on the wall of famous visitors, you quickly realize that this place was great, like 70 years ago (seriously like the 1950s)! The prices are...More

We wanted to eat at the second oldest restaurant in Spain. A old fashioned restaurant (of course!), with delicious food and oozing with ambience. We went for lunch at 2 without reservations and were seated immediately. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We didn't...More

No special dress code. I think shorts would be acceptable during Summer time as long as you wear acceptable shoes (no flip flops and similar shoes).
