This gem of a place was right around the corner from our hotel. We ended up returning for here multiple times during our stay because it was just that good! Scrumptious tapas, fish-bowl sized gin and tonics, a buzzing atmosphere and loads of fun! It...More

We loved all the dishes we were served and the service was outstanding. Need I say more? Nope! Check it out.

We’d heard about this place but stumbled on it today at just the right time. Great atmosphere if a little chaotic but our waiter was very helpful. 2 beers and 4 tapas dishes came to about 30€. Great place for people watching.

We were given recommendations to come here for lunch from our tour guide (thanks, Eric with Runner Beans tours!). We arrived here around 2pm, which is prime lunch time for the Spanish, and the place was hopping. It felt authentic - lots of locals coming...More

Packed and raucous with queues to get in and if you’re very lucky, a table to sit at to enjoy the anchovies with vermouth, tortilla and jamon. Recommended by our hotel (so jammed with tourists) although obviously an original old family run tavern - if...More

It opens at 1900hrs for dinner and tables are filled by 1905hrs - that tells you something! The food was fresh and the staff were charming. Slightly more than some places but this is Barcelona. Enjoy it - the octopus (pulpo) and house made bubbly...More

The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants

It's really small place and really hard to find a place to sit. Most of the people are standing. However I saw couples or friend groups there. If you go early you might find a place.

I don't think that they take reservations. It's more of a first come first served situation. I would strongly recommend to go earlier before they open especially if it's a larger group of people.
