Great place to pop and have a snack and a drink in the heat. Quick friendly service with a limited menu but tasty food.

Great food and outstanding service! We went in a group of 5 and everyone loved the food! Perfect for a special occasion or a nice night out, not so touristy (even tho we were there).

Terrible !!! La Paelle Barceloneta was burned! Half price for food and drink. I will never come again.

I had a business diner here. Great food. We had a first course, main course and dessert. The Crema Catalana was a little bit disappointing (too sweet for me) but the rest was excellent. The staff is also very helpfull and friendly.

Excellent. I came with the wife. We were looking for Paella and we found it. Make sure you order the Barceloneta paella. Fantastic seafood paella, with perfectly cooked rice. We started with some anchovies and said rings lubricated with a nice bottle of Cava. Great service and great food. What more could you ask?

Having read some reviews and wanting paella we decided unfortunately on trying this restaurant. We did have a reasonably pleasant greeting but it was all downhill after that! Considering this is supposedly a "fish restaurant" we expected the paella to be good. We chose Mixed Paella which was just BAD, it consisted of mainly bits of dried up "sausage", ONE... More

If I could I would give "average" for the price and very good for the rest. This is an interesting looking place close to Barceloneta Beach, with options to seat outside and inside. The menu, obviously, is all about sea food but it's a lot more expensive than other good restaurants we've been in Barcelona - example: La Tertulia, a... More

Pleasant service & nice to sit outside as well. Food was fine - set lunch with paella . Not the best food in Barcelona but certainly decent . Wine list is short & to the point .

If you have the smile on your face and on your heart you can get a great time in Suquet. Staff is friendly if you are friendly. You can try the menu or you can ask for the catch of the day, or just ask for the house specialty Suquet Stew. We had a good white wine simple named WHITE... More

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
