Nicely decorated and looks promising at first look but the food was horrible. The meat that was named beef stayed mystery what it actually was. Interpreting from the staffs deadpan faces, they have given up a long ago. Avoid this restaurant!

It's like you're in a movie! Fabulous looking restaurant, good food and service. Had mixed starters and shared the prawns thai noodles and chicken green curry. All food tasted lovely. Managed to get a table last minute as the place is huge. (Photo is of the entrance only).

We picked this restaurant on a whim and found it to be very elegant and up market. Great venue for an anniversary or special occasion. Meals were small and costly but very flavorful. Not the best Thai food I have ever eaten but definitely full of flavor and deserving of a mention. Not a great place for children and definitely... More

First came here last year due to finding out the Thai Gardens had closed. We ended up coming back the next night as well. This year we have done exactly the same, Friday and a Saturday night. Staff are friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs, even have a laugh with customers. The food is delicious and melts in the... More

I have been to Thai Barcelona a few times and always had excellent service and food. It's not cheap, but I would recommend this place for a fantastic meal or special occasion.

The place itself is amazing!! Great decoration and all full of items and smells that will bring you to Thailand in the blink of an eye. However, the service is not that friendly. The food is nice but depending what you order is a bit too oily. The Phad Thai are really good though.

I went alone for an early supper while on business in Barcelona. The service is excellent, very elegant in treatment, discreet even. I was led to a small table in the main room. I ordered the Tom Yam Khung soup, which was just sublime and then I followed it with a Pla Luy Suan (a Salmon-based curry). This was shown... More

The whole experience was good from beginning to end. The food was authentic Thai food full of wonderful flavours. The staff very friendly and attentive. Price wise thought it was very reasonable.

Food was mediocre but okay. Tom ka kai soup very good as well as the satay but the curry we ordered had nothing to do with a curry. What was very bad was the hostess at the entrance, the opposite of hospitality is what she (Nuria) delivers. If I was the owner/manager I would replace her instantly.

I found this lovely Thai restaurant quite by mistake whilst looking for something else and was very pleased I did. It is a very welcoming restaurant with typical Thai decor which is very deceiving from the outside as it has three levels including tables where you can sit on the floor! The food was delicious and staff very attentive.

Description
In September 1998 Thai Gardens Barcelona opens its doors for the first time. At the time the city lacked thai cuisine restaurants. Opening our doors to the public every single day throughout these past sixteen years, we have seen how the offer of Asian cuisine was growing in Barcelona and how, at the same time, our role as Royal Thai Cuisine ambassadors was being consolidated. Our restaurant is the result of the efforts of a great team that day after day transform any meal in a pleasant moment in the ancient kingdom of Siam.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
