The word is definitely out about this hole-in-the-wall restaurant. We came here for dinner on our first night in Spain after a long day of traveling. We were tired so we wanted to eat as soon as they opened for dinner at 8pm. We arrived at 7:50pm and the line was already 8 people deep. We got a table but... More

If you like modest places for locals this one is outstanding. It is Very simple looking but it is authentic, you can see ladies preparing food in old kitchen. The food (mainly seefood) is fresh and tasty. Prices ok, atmosphere 10/10

This is a restaurant you won't find if you visit Barcelona. Hidden in third street and does no look really fancy but the food is excellent and the atmosphere is really nice. You will see a lot of people queueing at the street, so you better be early. Experience real local Barcelona - here you go.

Very local and great food for a very low price. Funny only one type of glass for every thing. Seafood as local eats it

Average food, average service, prices are not that cheap. Overrated, don't expect so much, make sure you get there early otherwise you might not find a table for dinner, opening at 8 for dinner be there 10 min ago

You Will go Can Mano if you want simple but good fish plates, but overall if you want to try a real local non turistic place: here you'll find young spanish people spending their free time, talking and laughing with friends while eating fried or grilled fish with a very few money. Only for people who like semplicity...

Good reviews. Fresh fish. Narrow place to sit to have a normal conversation with your other half. I don't think we'll come again.

Such a shame that despite having a good food the service is the worst I ever had. They served us the wrong dish and confronted me when I asked to change it, opposing to do it and telling me I was wrong. Plus, last century service they dont accept cards. Lamentable!!! Lamentable q malgrat de tenir bon menjar, el servei... More

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
