We had lunch here on the day of our 30th wedding anniversary. It's easy to pass it by but the live Latino trumpet playing caught our ear, so we walked in and grabbed a table - it gets really busy so be prepared to share...More

If you want elegant, fancy and romantic you won't be happy here! Yes the decor and table settings are simple, but that is the joy of this place. If you want good, cheap, fresh sea food eaten in a fun environment, with no pretence then...More

We went there after receiving a recommendation, as a cheap simple fish restaurant. The food was terribly bad - almost everything is fried, the fish selection was poor, all side orders were fried (except for salad, which was poor), the decor , table setting were...More

Just as the fundamental unit of all of chromatin revolves around the histone octamer, so does seafood around the homodimeric tetramer of calamari, octopus, sardines, and mackerel. Never have these components been recombined together in such purity as in Can Mano in Barceloneta. Our taste...More

Got here at 8, just before it opened. There was a queue of locals waiting to get inside, so you know it's popular, and popular only usually equals one thing. We were sat down and given a menu with helpful English translations of all the...More

Went here because La Bombeta was closed. Bad idea... Lousy food, all fried... I don't know where the "lovely fish" and the local people were. Tourist trap, avoid !

Frequented by locals, and great value. Best to choose fish, though, as my daughter wasn't that impressed with her fried chicken! My sardines were very fresh.

We stopped here for lunch when walking back into town from the beach. It was filled with locals and we really enjoyed our fish and salad. Very well priced and tasty with a true local feel.

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in

Maybe like 50 euros, we were 3 adults, and we had shrimp/fish/paella as main dish,/sodas/wine/beers/bread with tomato (entry) and maybe something else. Any way I'm "cheap" and I found it good value. On top there's air... More
