We went here after having heard that this place sells the best patatas bravas. While the Aïoli was the best I've ever had, the bravas were not. Nevertheless they were very good, the athmosphere felt local and authentic, so still worth the travel!

Spent most of my idle student time lazing at this bar. Tucked away in an alley, its reputation is well deserved. What works: 1) The speed of service is uncharacteristically, well, fast for a Spanish eatery. All the tapas are ensconced in a glass table top overlooking the seating area. 2) Patatas Bravas is the signature dish, plenty of garlic... More

I went for their famous bravas, It was Ok but certainly not the best I've had in the city. The food was average but nothing memorable at all.

Great local bustling, vibrant cafe. Really fast service. Good food. Just be aware it shuts at 10pm. Doesn't accept credit / debit cards.

You will place 2 orders. At least. You will want to sample everything. You should. You will eat with toothpicks. You need to get there early. With cash.

A hidden gem that we stumbled upon. Great tapas and potatas bravas. Friendly waitstaff. Very local spot and a beautiful charming queen part of Barcelona, away from tourists. Very generous with the wine and extremely reasonably priced at $1.55 euro per glass. Don't speak very good English but it adds to the charm of the local restaurant. Off the beaten... More

The service was very very good. The potatoes were truly amazing. We read that they would be the best in Barcelona, I think it was pretty darn close. It's a small dive with exceptional food and very good service! I think it's definitely worth visiting.

We had read about this place in all of the "Bravas" lists citing it as the best so we decided to take a trip and test them out. Maybe our expectations were too high or maybe we don't understand local culture but all three of us thought the bravas were a bit dissapointing. The bravas were a bit soggy ,... More
