Worth a visit - authentic and tasty. Good value and friendly. Croquettes and the sardines were really good. Food prepared in front of you. Would recommend.

We came across this restaurant in the way back to our hotel. My fish was delicious, simply grilled and fresh. The mixed shared starter platter was fine. This is simple cooking in a friendly environment, no fancy, unnecessary stuff!

We had traveled all night and stayed awake to adjust to the time change. By the time dinner came around we didn't want to search for a place to eat dinner. We asked the very friendly staff at the hotel for a recommendation in the area. We told them we didn't want a tourist place but a place that locals... More

My husband & I ordered the Seafood variety. It was grilled & most tasteful! Our dinner was with business colleagues of my husband. We also ordered the Greek salad, which was plentiful & tasty, included feta cheese & tomatoes with olive oil & spices. I would definetly eat there again.

Good quality product plus a good price. Owners are from Galicia and they offer top quality product from that region of Spain. Meat is a must plus the fish.

This place is in the middle of a happening neighborhood in the Eixample, but it is a simple, classic Catalan/Galician restaurant. The food is dependable and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and efficient.

An old school restaurant which has excellent dishes from the old days and a T-bone steak (chuleton) to die for.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
