Off the beaten path, the restaurant has wonderful waiters and the food is good. We likded the decor and their gazpacho was the best we found in Barcelona. Seafood dishes are Mediterranean in style and, of course, the fish is fresh. I thought the house...More

I loved this place, start with the fish soup and get a casserole with octopus. The paella was also very nice. I have eaten at many seafood restaurants and the flavors here were just wonderful.

If what you are looking for is a traditional mediterranean seafood restaurant, Carballeira is yoir place! Amazingly fresh seafood: gambas, escamarlans, navajas,..., and then the traditional arroz a la banda, bogavante a la americana,..., all superbly done. The look of the place is exactly as...More

Dear Sr, We are really sorry for the misunderstanding with the lobster. Our lobster with “Sauce Américaine”, as described on the menu, is a classic French recipe and it is certainly nothing to do with the lobster with butter you expected. We appreciate your feedback,...More

Poor, bad, expensive, low quality, meh service. That's my summary of the place. People had recommended this one over the competitor around the corner, not trusting "people" again. Wine selection was nice but besides that fish was chewy, paella was tasteless, they bought 4 shrimps...More

We were recommended this restaurant by locals and were disappointed as it wasn't up to scratch! It's very staid and the food bland and over priced. Lacking in atmosphere, we didn't enjoy our visit. The fish was just so-so served on cold plates. The gambas...More
