Good reataurant quality price where you can get a good experience if the tipical catalonian gastronomy. The meats and the toast are really good. A place to go with groups.

This old style Catalan Tavern with a some real authentic regional food. They have a simple menu but the the star is there good quality product. All local produce, homemade desserts, nice Vermut and good service. On a side note: Although they have the grill right in the middle of the restaurant you don't come out smelling all smoky which... This small and charming restaurant serves Catalan specialities especially delicious sausages. The place has masterfully grilled dishes, toasted sandwiches Catalan style and a selection of simple desserts which perfectly complement the rest of the fare. It is located in a small street, away from the main tourist routes but well worth a visit.

The food is not bad but the quantities are small, and the quality of products is not amazing. So, I won't recommend this place to my friends. Still, It can be a good option to try catalan "embutidos" in Gracia area.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a foodie couple who are local. I was hugely disappointed. Dry manchego that seemed to have been cut months earlier, OK iberico, a tasteless two egg omelette for tortilla, burnt bread with no perceptible tomato or garlic, ok tuna salad that involved opening a tin and adding some leaves - this was just... My partner and I stumbled on this place late one weeknight when we were hungry and every place around us was closed. How lucky we were. We were graciously welcomed by our waiter with a bottle of red vermouth and two glasses for aperitifs as we perused the menu and then ordered. The food--and the house wine--were very good and... The place is meant for locals getting their good quality tostones, which is a local speciality made of grilled bread, tomato and olive oil. The grilled meat and sausages make the eating experience great. It is authentic kitchen, good service, very good value for money.

The food there was excellent and the people were very nice to adults and children. If you are looking for fish do not come here. As a previous reviewer said, all the food walked on four feet once (with one exception, the anchovies in the traditional escalivida appetizer). The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. This is a place for... More

Don't come here and order a paella. Or expect a menu in English. You will get neither. What you will get is simple food with the time-tested truth that fine raw material, a trusty cook's hand, a grill and olive oil will, put together, bring a delightful meal to your table. This is a Catalan restaurant. No seafood. Just stuff... More

This grill restaurant is rather big but only had 4 tables accupied on a Sunday night. This is no place for a romantic dinner, because the lights are bright and there is no background music what so ever. As for the food, you just get what you ordered on a plate, nothing more. No vegetables, salad, garnis or anything like... More
