Great place to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We went here the night before and liked it so much we came back on our big date itself. Could not have imagined a better place to dine!

Got this recommendation from our hotel. Best restaurant we ate in over our 4 day visit by far. Tapas were delicious and the selection never ending. we got there just in front of the locals and the queues to get into the restaurant were significant.

Such fun! You select your own tapas by walking up to the ever-changing Tapas bar. We enjoyed a variety of hot and cold tapas...saving the toothpicks in each to use in tallying our check!

This place is a hidden gem. However, you have to discard the menu and just go to the tapas bar (inside). About 50 choices which should satisfy just about anyone. They are 1.65 Euros each and for most folks, eight to ten will be plenty. We also had a bottle of Ramon Bilbao (Spanish red). Total bill for two with... More

After spending time in Bilbao in February and finding the pintxos way of eating a revelation (eat when you feel like! as much or little as you like! small portions throughout the day and night! all accompanied by tiny drinks! all of which makes it practically compulsory to bar-hop your way through the night! SO civilised!) I was keen to... More

We booked into this lovely little restaurant using an online booking form which we had trawled the Internet for since we don't speak the language, and we were pleased that they were expecting 13 of us when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed the myriad of tapas dishes that are served on a help yourself basis. They was something for everyone!... More

Lovely location in the beautiful square. We went most days for breakfast. The bagel with smoked salmon is delicious!

We had not been in Girona for around 5 years, but knew the place very well for 5 years prior to that. While there was always some turnover in eating establishments we were a little disappointed to see some of our favourite places closed or redeveloped; La Font, Amarcord and La Llesca to name but three. Fortunately no such fate... More

Had tapas and drinks at this great neighbourhood resturant, busy with locals, we fell lucky as we got the last table before a massive queue started, (but it would have been totally worth queueing for!) Great food, buzzy atmosphere. Just go to the counter and pick what you fancy, or order the larger plates, great experience!
