I have gone 3 times and all the time I've eaten really good. You can taste the typical dishes of a Galicia (north region of Spain), the price is correct. If you want to eat quality when we are talking about see food this restaurant are on average price. I'll come back

Used to be a good restaurant with fair prices, but has turned into a tourist trap. Last visit many items on the menu weren't available so the waiter recommended a cut of fish from the special menu. It was dry, overcooked and ended up costing twice as much as anything else on the menu. The rest of the food was... More

We had about an 90 minutes until our train back to Barcelona and our guide pointed us to Tasca Galega. We asked our waiter for help and made some modifications. What followed was a terrific lunch that satisfied all 4 of us. We started with a toasted bread Catalan style and were shown how to rub the fresh garlic and... More

We had a fabulous leisurely meal here on a Thursday lunchtime. We had 7 plates between 4 of us, the which was plenty: the tuna & octopus (pulpo) & the prawns were delicious. Recommend the Bestaroxa (white) wine - very good with the seafood. 😊

Definately a must on your "must go to" places to eat in Girona. Everything was great! Pulpo a la Gallega, Tuna tartar and the garlic basted shrimp tails were wonderful.

2 years ago we went there following locals advice, went back there last week when in town, and it was just the same, relaxed terrasse, friendly service, the menu is simple but effective, quite cheap as well, we enjoyed every tapas on our table as we did before, will be back again for sure!!

We stopped by for a light lunch with one of our party being gluten sensitive. The staff was VERY accommodating and provided a gluten free meal with local ingredients. They also ran out to a local bakery for gluten free bread. The food was excellent.

Food and service were both excellent. Not a huge menu but food was exceptional. Well worth a visit. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English.
