L'Espurna is back: a traditional kitchen base with an author's selli by chef Jesus Gimena. Dishes with a traditional base and a touch of innovation. Good product from Lleida well combined. When we arrived they offered us fresh Km 0 osmotized water, tap water that goes through a machine that many people have at home, they charged us €2.75, we ordered bread for two, they charged us €5.00. For dessert, torrija, bread from the "BIMBO" mold or similar, €8.50.
The menu is quite limited and the cuisine is very average.

Very bad experience, the waitress got mixed up with the dishes and when they were going to serve us we told them about their mistake. So far normal, it happens to anyone, but the waitress who had taken the note came back to reproach us for what we had ordered when we made her understand what her mistake had been, my husband changed the steak from punt to poc fet (in Catalan) and She understood pop, which is octopus in Catalan!!, so far from apologizing, not for the mistake but for the manners, she left with the face of being right. Then they brought the steak to my husband and I, curiously it was half of a steak and they served it cut up, I don't know if they always serve it that way or that's how they saved the mistake in the kitchen. The thing is that I won't be coming back and if you want to spend money I'm sure there are nicer options to do so, because I wanted to enjoy one more occasion and not put up with the waitress's ego. The place is pleasant, but very noisy. The service is deficient and few professionalism. The menu they offer has sophisticated and pompous names but their taste is irrelevant. Dishes are well presented but gastronimc content don't correspont with the visual concept. It's a pity that the gastronomic offer isnt of better quality.

It was a total success, we went to celebrate with my mother and we were delighted, especially her. The fish was delicious, we tried three different ones and which one was better. Excellent attention too

Perfect food, everything very good, but
We ordered an Irish coffee for dessert and it didn't taste like anything and when we complained the waitress treated us like fools when we already had Irish coffee when she wasn't even born and she wanted to show us what she has, she didn't even offer us a change or another dessert, it has made us feel very bad since it represents that this restaurant has a category that for me has dropped by half,
