We popped in without booking for a little tapas before watching the football. Ended up missing a football because we had such a good tasting menu and such a great wine suggestion by a waiter.

I called on a busy saturday to get a table and they told me to go later at around 3,30 pm (a reasonable time for a Spaniard), we were the last ones eating at the restaurant and they had to wait for us to close, I never felt pressured to leave which is nice. We had a really nice paella... More

A very nice and friendly place. Try their pulpo (octopus) ! It is very soft (not chewy as it is in most places). Local wine is very good as well.

One of the best places in Sitges. Seafood is really excellent, always a good wine, even the house wine. The restaurant is small and family run, so better to book it beforehand and the service may be not extra rapid sometime: but it's really worth waiting!

We visited Sitges last week and we were in the mood for paella. We did not know where to go, but two lovely local old ladies stopped for a chat and when we asked them for a recommendation, they suggested to book a table at Casa Hidalgo, so we did. What a find! We were a party of 8, they... More

The name is misleading: Casa Hidalgo means Gentleman's Home, but I was served by an oaf dressed as a chef, who should have been cleaning the lavatories. Courses were brought in quick succession, as though one were in a fast food joint. The wine, however, did not arrive until the main course. The main course of Turbot St Sebastian cost... More

We had lunch here our last day. Luckily I had made a reservation as every table was reserved and people were turned away. There are a lot of choices on the menu plus a blackboard with more. We had gambas ( large prawns ), incredible suckling pig and a rice dish with lobster. Everything from the presentation to the quality... More

We were a party of 6, it was our last night in Sitges and we were looking forward to a lovely outdoor meal. Unfortunately, the weather took a turn for the worst, quickly turning into a torrential thunder and lightning storm. Most restaurants couldn't take us and we were resigned to pizza back at our rental house when we noticed... More

This is a quaint place that is amazing. Service is significantly more prompt than your average Spain establishment. We ordered the lobster croquettes, tomato bread- ham- cheese, bravas, goat cheese salad, baby goat leg, monk fish and tuna. Great service, nice choices. The food is delicious and the menu can look deceiving. A must try while in Sitges.
