We went here due to the great reviews but personally didn't enjoy the food or atmosphere. Im sure some items are fine- Im just saying we ate much better at other locales (where locals were found dining). The tapas were mediocre- I guess because this is in a touristy part of town. The razor clams were still alive and riggling... More

Recommended by the hotel we stayed in, and glad they did. Four of us had Menu Del Dia, and it was excellent. I had a pork dish...

Right in the main street of the center of the historial Santiago, you can find several restaurants to try tapas. One of my favorites is Taberna do Bispo. You have either the possibiliy to eat just at the entrance, at the bar or sit relaxed behind. They have weekly tapas that change constanly and offer a hugh variety of tapas,... More

An excellent choice from many eateries on this " strip " , needed to shelter from the rain and so glad we chose here. Initially wanted just a coffee but we were so taken by the range of Tapas we opted for a few delightful bites and some excellent house white. The range was refreshed all the time and every... More

We were on a trip to Santiago de Compostela from La Coruña and after visiting the Cathedral set out to visit this restaurant as it had been highly recommended by someone on our cruise. A few others on our trip heard where we were going and asked would we mind if they came along too, so there were over 20... More

We went to the restaurant for a late evening meal of tapas. It was quite busy but were given a table within 5 minutes. (Other people just stand in the front/bar area to eat... but you can sit down in the back to enjoy your meal). The waiter spoke excellent English and we followed many other reviewers recommendation and just... More

It looked good from the outside so I went in for a drink. The tapas they had on offer looked great with many choices. I had a few drinks. I liked it there. It was one stop on a fun night. I'd go again.

One of the best tapas bars to visit at the end of your pilgrimage, especially in a group or as a couple. Get advice on what to order as there's a huge selection other than what's on display. It is more expensive than normal but worth it. The puddings are also excellent and worth sharing as some of them are... More

Came here on our first night and enjoyed it so we returned on our last night. Good selection of tapas style eating. The locals eat here so must be good. We found it great value for money, as you can keep adding tapas dishes if/ when you wish to. We had the €1.35 tapas dishes and ate really well for... More
