We didn't eat here, but the food we saw looked like traditional average British grub, with people appearing to enjoy their meals. Beer was okay, but I get the impression it's yet another of the old pubs living on its past reputation.

Left hunger, never again. Think this pub is a bit hit and miss. I don't believe the... More

Old world pub with a covered eating area outside. Landlord and staff very welcoming and friendly. Used this place before on previous visits and it's never let us down. Good home cooked food ( would highly recommend the steak pie) excellent value for money.
