Every time we come to Madrid this is a must stop. The churros and chocolate are the best in Madrid. You have to order first and then you are seated. The outside seating is great people watching.

Worth waiting in the brief queue. Best churros in Madrid. Try the thick and thin ones. Open 24/7 for over 100 years!

We only got take away chocolate as we were too full from lunch for the traditional churros but the churros certainly looked good! The chocolate was delicious but very expensive. Worth a try though! Very busy place.

This iconic chocolateria did not disappoint. We tried the churros and porras and loved both. However the porras were my favourites. The hot chocolate is delicious, smooth and true to Spanish tradition. Definitely worth a visit.

This is the best place! Who doesn’t like fried dough, but then dip it in melted dark chocolate while still warm. Heaven on earth. Open 24/7. My only regret, we only visited once.

Quick service, plenty of places to sit and enjoy the brilliant churros with a cup of chocolate. Would have come again had I discovered it earlier in my trip!

It’s turned into a very touristic place but still enjoyable. There’s usually a queue to get in but the wait is worth it. It’s an old style café with small marble tables to sit and enjoy your chocolate with churros - or porras (large variety)....More

I don't have any nut allergy so probably won't be the best person to answer your query but the staff there is very friendly and would be glad to help you out if you asked them the same. There's plenty of other things to eat... More

we went in the evening. it was busy, but we got served pretty quickly. you need to go in and order, then they bring it out to you. at first, we thought you sit at a table and they would take your order there.
