We stopped in during the late afternoon to meet with friends before we all were departing Madrid. This ancient cafe (1855) is attractive and fun to visit service was efficient even though quite busy. A good place on Calle Mayor for a get together.

We had hot chocolate and a soletilla to start the day. As part of Devour Madrid Food Tour "Ultimate Spanish Cuisine Tour". The hot chocolate is serious.

Had chocolate as part of a food tour with Devour Madrid. Absolutely dreamy authentic chocolate & lovely decaf café con leche too.
